The Gospel and the Status Quo

The apostles find themselves at a crossroad. Will they embrace the agenda of God, or the

status quo? Their sharing of the gospel with the citizens of Philippi moves from being a

small riverside Bible study to impacting the day to day lives of people in bondage to sin.

The powers that be, both human and angelic— resist such disruptions to the status quo.
