Looking at Life Through the Lens of God’s Love

Man’s creation and redemption originated in the heart of God, whose basic nature is

described as “love” by the apostle John. Through the healing power of Jesus’ sacrificial

death and the energizing power of the Holy Spirit, we have been equipped to imitate

God’s love in our relationships with one another. Today’s passage provides insights into

the nature and power of God’s love and what it means to love one another as He has

loved us.
