The Essentials of Effective Prayer

Scripture is replete with exhortations to pray and examples of the power of prayer as a

divinely appointed channel for God’s intervention in the affairs of men. For reasons beyond

our comprehension, God has ordained this spiritual discipline as an essential means of

achieving His heavenly purposes on earth, whether it’s the cleansing of a repentant heart,

the healing of a sick child or the humbling of a proud nation.
