Discover Your Spiritual Gifts

A reflective 15-minute inventory to help you serve where God has uniquely equipped you.

When the Holy Spirit places a person in Christ, He also equips them. Paul teaches that every believer receives gifts from the same Spirit - and that those gifts are given for the common good of the body of Christ. Discovering your gifts isn't about status or self-discovery; it's about stewardship. You were equipped to build up the church.

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different activities, but the same God produces each gift in each person. - 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (CSB)

This inventory walks through 80 short statements that reflect the 16 spiritual gifts named in the New Testament. It takes about fifteen minutes. When you finish, you'll see your three strongest gifts with a brief biblical description for each - and a full ranking of all 16. Your results will be emailed to you, with a copy sent to our pastoral team in case you'd like to talk about where they might fit in the life of our church.

Next Steps

  • Pray over your results. Ask the Lord to confirm and clarify how He has gifted you.
  • Talk with someone who knows you well. Do your top gifts ring true to them?
  • Reach out to Pastor John or a leader at Trinity to discuss how to begin using your gifts in ministry.
  • Keep in mind that gifts grow with use. Lower scores aren't permanent ceilings - they're a starting point.
Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God. - 1 Peter 4:10 (CSB)
